SANDWICH
SANDWICH
This
is the basics of making a sandwich
1. Choose a bread(sliced bread, loaf
breads, buns- small round or oval loaves that are cut in half to make the
sandwich etc)
2. Choose your condiments –this is to make
the bread moist. Some of which are butter, mayonnaise, ketchup, jam etc
3. Choose your fillings- this could be
a. Meats (sausage patties or chicken
breast)
b. Vegetables (salad leaves, stir fry
vegetables, sliced tomatoes, sliced onions, etc).
c. Cheese, which is always sliced for ease
of use.
d. Other items like egg salad, fried egg, chili,
peanut butter
4. You can assemble the sandwich by
layering the ingredients between the two pieces of bread and simply eating it
cold.
5. You cook the sandwich by using a frying
pan or griddle. When doing it this way, you should cover the bread that will be
touching the pan with butter or mayonnaise and then cook the sandwich over low
heat until the cheese melts, switching to high heat towards the end to brown
the bread if it is not already, don’t forget to flip it.
Preparation of a Sandwich
1.
Get two slices of bread or
slice a loaf or roll in half
2.
Spread your condiments of
choice, like mayonnaise or mustard, on the inside
3.
Layer your fillings on top
of the first slice of bread, then place the second slice on top, with the
condiments side down.
Note:
you can either eat your sandwich cold or you can heat it in a toaster oven,
skillet.
Try slicing your sandwich
in different such as half the long way, vertically, or cut it into four little
