FISH PIE/FISH ROLL (FRIED)
Recipe for dough
Flour                          -           350g
Water                        -           150ml
Margarine                -           100g
Egg  (raw)                -           1
Baking powder       -           ½  tablespoon (leveled)
Salt -  1 teaspoon (leveled)
Recipe for Fish pie filling
Fish
Onions (Chopped)
Directions:
1.     Fry the fresh fish lightly in oil, remove the bone and mash well.
2.     In a bowl, add the flour, salt baking powder and margarine. Mix well, add the egg and mix thoroughly.
3.     Add the water bit by bit and knead the dough until you get a smooth but firm dough.
4.     Place the dough on a flat board/table and cut out a bit. Using a rolling pin, roll out the small dough until it’s flat and then cut to form a rectangular shape.
5.     Add the mashed fish and fold/ roll the dough. Keep rolling until you get the desired length.
6.     Heat the oil until hot (not smoking hot) and fry the fish rolls on low heat until it’s crusty and brown.
Note: you may season the fish lightly.

Alternatively
Flour              -           300g
Sugar             -           2 tablespoon
Salt                 -           ½ teaspoon
Yeast              -           1/4 teaspoon
Nutmeg        -           1/4 teaspoon
Egg                 -           1 teaspoon
Filling            -           1 tin of sardine
Vegetable oil -        2 tablespoons for mixing
Water            -           150ml
